Students become Peacemakers – Each student prepares a “Friendship Flyer” with the help of their families. These flyers are exchanged with a peace partner of a different background from a neighboring school. Students will design and paint their own unique signature on an art paver while learning how important it is to be a determined peacemaker.

Classrooms will celebrate and learn about our great history of Peacemakers and Heroes.

A Peace Rally field trip to a local park provides the opportunity for the kids to meet their Peace Partner. United through a day of food, fun, music and games, the students place their pavers into a lasting monument designed by a professional artist.

Whole families come to common ground where they can applaud the efforts and creative powers of their children. This is ART AND EDUCATION IN ACTION!!!
